Very complex nose which opens with a spicy and iodine powerful, becomes tabaco and leather subtelty and finishes with very round and mellow toffees flavors. Lively and strong peaty tastes. Liquorice deep and spicy characters, it develops some roasted flavors. Silky texture, it has a very fresh finish with a nice alcohol tightening. Extremly length and complex finish, reminding smoked tea, very nice example of peat flavors enhanced by sweet PX cask. Elected by Mrs. Couvreur like her favorite, during tasting comments, she finds it like a very nice companion of cigars.
Purposed between 2016 and 2018 only, Notice that the first bottles have been labelled black (pink writting) but amended in usual colours (white and black) because not easy to read.
