Experience and friendship made that we did a cask exchange with Dominique Derain, wine producer at Saint Aubin. Very unique, he made matured a Chardonnay under a veil for more than 6 years, like a Vin Jaune. His wine has been labelled as "Voile Not", Dominique allowed us to give the same name to our whisky.
Rich, powerful, this single malt develops very fine and subtle characters. Slightly woody with vanilly savors, enhanced by a floral elegance.
With a lot of complexity, this single cask gives a beautiful length, spicy with extremly elegant golden savors.
Chardonnay grapes is more discreet than usual Savagnin we know for VJ Maturation whiskies but very complex.
The 30th October 2022, 430 bottles of 500ml, natural strength, have been made, no magnum because too limited.
