OVERAGED AT CASK STRENGTH

Presentation

As classic Overaged more intense, more complex. This blended is composed by an higher proportion of old malts, more peated whiskies. Fragrance of dried flowers, flaxen tobacco, sherry wine, fat almond, a little smoked. Fruity, powerful and long in the mouth. Aimed at a balance between new pure young malts and fathomless maturity of older ones. End of mouth : sherry roundness enhanced by a slightly smoked. Fabulous nice balance between the nervous young single malts and the mellow olders.
Cask strength may be different, depending on the batch (between 50% and 55%).

Tasting suggestions

To be preferably consumed cool (14 to 15° Celsius), as a digestive.
It could be served with smoked salmon.
